Convergence between « Green key » and « Eco Schools » programs
The aim of the Key green and Eco-schools programs developed by the FM6E is to rise the environmental culture through the daily activities of schools and hotel owners.
Thus, and in a logic of convergence and synergy between these two programs, FM6E launched in partnership with Hotel Tikida Palmeraie, an action aimed at providing children of the Palmeraie Eco Schools, a good daily practices implemented by the institution, in order to consolidate and strengthen awareness and diversification of the environmental protection knowledge.
In this context, a visit was made Thursday, 17 March 2011 by 3:00Pm to allow 36 students from School Umm al Fadl to discover the environmental provisions adopted and managed within the hotel.
This visit was in focus on a simplified technique of compost followed by a demonstration session of the site. This visit, has also involved the different areas of the establishments (restaurants, kitchens, bedrooms ...).
